EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP AND BOARD

John Labrie
President and Chief Executive Officer

With more than 29 years in the transportation and logistics industry, John Labrie currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer at MNX Global Logistics. John was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of Network Global Logistics (NGL) from November 2015 through December 2018, which MNX acquired in December 2018. Prior to joining NGL, John was the Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Echo Global Logistics. Between 2011 and 2014 John was the co-founder of Partage, buytruckload.com, and Discount Diesel. From 1990 to 2010, he was an executive at Con-way, Inc., which was acquired by XPO Logistics in 2015. During his tenure with Con-way he held a variety of roles, including President of Con-way Freight, the company’s largest business unit. Other roles included SVP of Strategy and Enterprise Operations at Con-way, Inc., CEO of Con-way Western Express, and VP of Operations at Con-way Western Express.

John has an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University and a BSBA from Central Michigan University.

Matt Ackerman
Chief Financial Officer

Matthew Ackerman has built a career spanning 25+ years leading global finance teams across multiple industries and businesses prior to joining the MNX team as CFO in March 2019. Just before MNX, Matthew served as CFO of Optimas OE Solutions, leading the finance team at one of the world’s largest distributors of engineered fasteners and fittings to global OEM manufacturers with sales of $900M across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific regions.

Before joining Optimas, Matthew served as Senior Director of Finance from ‘07 to ‘15 and led the financial planning and analysis, commercial, and operations finance teams at HD Supply Facilities Maintenance. Matthew also enjoyed a 13 year career with expanding financial leadership responsibilities at General Electric, serving in controllership, audit, and FP&A roles in numerous global GE divisions including GE Appliances, GE Corporate, NBC-Universal, and GE Capital. Matthew began his career with General Electric after earning his Accounting degree from The University of Wisconsin in 1994.

Nathan Gesse
Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Nate joins MNX with more than 12 years of senior management experience in logistics and is a proven leader managing teams in planning, implementation, launch of leading edge processes and solutions, variable cost model logistics and operations reengineering.

Prior to joining MNX, Nate served as Vice President of Operations for the Northeast region for Forward Air Corporation, and Vice President for Operations at Towne Air Freight, where he helped grow revenue by $30 Million over three years while simultaneously directing logistics planning, sourcing, IT and route optimization. Nate is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering and post-graduate at the University of Maryland.

Paul Gettings
Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)

Paul Gettings has served in the time critical transportation and logistics industry for 30 years and is currently Chief Commercial Officer at MNX Global Logistics. Prior to joining MNX, Paul served as President for Network Global Logistics' Express Division, a leading expedited time critical specialty logistics company that MNX acquired in Dec 2018.

Paul specializes in building and leading revenue growth teams in the mission critical logistics space on a global basis. He is responsible for sales and marketing strategy and execution across the MNX Americas organization and globally for the Service Parts Logistics Division. Paul started his career with SonicAir and spent 20 years in senior leadership positions there and with UPS Supply Chain Solutions.

Paul holds a graduate degree in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University, as well as having studied in semester programs at Harvard University and the Universidad del Noroeste in Sonora, Mexico. He has been a recognized speaker at industry forums, an AFSMI Management Creativity Award Winner and 2015 Supply Chain Pro to Know.

Ranjit Thacker
Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Ranjit Thacker has served in the transportation and logistics industry for over 20 years in an executive role and is currently Chief Information Officer at MNX Global Logistics. Prior to joining MNX, Ranjit served as CIO for Network Global Logistics, a leading expedited time critical specialty logistics company that MNX acquired in Dec 2018.

Ranjit specializes in building leading edge technology platforms for mission critical systems that provide a competitive advantage for the organization. He is responsible for every aspect of information systems and technology within the organization, focusing on strategic planning, technology implementation, security and compliance, business intelligence, capital and operating budgets, staffing, and communication.

Ranjit holds a post-graduate degree in Computer Systems Management from the Creighton University, as well as a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Government Polytechnic in Ahmedabad, India. He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

Thomas Belmont
Executive Vice President of APAC Operations

Tom Belmont entered the express transportation industry in 1983. In the course of his thirty year career, Tom has conducted business in over fifty countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America and currently serves as Executive Vice President of APAC Operations for MNX Global Logistics.

Tom is is credited with the development and maintenance of a network of service partners, airlines and vendors throughout the world. In addition, Tom led the development of the Transportation Management System and Warehouse Management System at MNX.

With his intimate knowledge of the industry, Tom serves on the board of directors of the Expedited Logistics Association. He has a B.S. from St. John’s University in Jamaica, NY as well as post-graduate course work in Quantitative Analysis.

Gina Justice
Vice President, Human Resources

Gina Justice joined MNX Global Logistics in May 2009 and has been leading the Human Resources department as the Global Director for five years. Gina professionally approaches all aspects of HR with the ability to balance the goals of the Company with employee needs as well as deliver quality processes and procedures designed to ensure state, federal and country-specific compliance. Her prior work experience at MNX includes one year as the Company’s Chief of Staff and two years as a Customer Advocate.

Prior to joining MNX Global Logistics, she held various Operational roles that included account management and annual film market responsibilities. Gina is a graduate of Brigham Young University-Hawaii with a degree in Psychology and holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach.
